Amazing Scuba Spots Identified

Before people embark on diving holidays it is important that they arrange suitable diving travel insurance.   Treatment for diving injuries and other associated costs such as evacuation to the nearest chamber, search and rescue etc, can be expensive, so appropriate cover is vital.

Meanwhile, to get the most from their experiences it is important that individuals choose the best locations to explore beneath the waves. These days there are so many options for keen divers to choose from.

Writing on the Mother Nature Network, Josh Lew listed some of the most impressive dive sites.

One of his recommendations was Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.  He suggested that this is the “ultimate dive destination”.  The world’s largest reef, it boasts “thousands of species of fish and crystal clear waters”, meaning it really “lives up to its reputation”.

Meanwhile, the Cayman Islands also made it onto his list.  According to Mr Lew these islands are a “haven for divers seeking the perfect place to swim among colourful aquatic life”. By heading to the islands holidaymakers can enjoy an impressive diversity of dive experiences, he added. For example, serious divers can take a look at the Bloody Bay Wall, while novice divers can enjoy the shallower waters.

The Maldives also got a mention. He noted that these Indian Ocean islands are home to some “amazing beaches and the type of clear, warm water that tropical vacation aficionados from around the world dream about”.   They also offer a variety of reefs, channels and changes-in-depth, he pointed out. As long as travelers invest in appropriate scuba diving travel insurance, they can dive in their locations of choice with confidence.
